Picking a Good CBD Product

“I’ve tried CBD before but not sure it worked at all… how do I pick a legit CBD product?”

Just like dietary supplements, CBD products are not regulated by the FDA. This means you essentially have to navigate through all of the good, bad and ugly products out there by doing your own research and gaining your own knowledge.

How should you go about navigating it? Here are just some tips we put together to help!

  • Buy from a trusted and licensed business who specializes in CBD products.

  • CBD products should have a COA [Certificate Of Analysis] which comes from a third-party lab that verifies cannabinoid content, purity, and safety.

  • Buy CBD products made with USA-grown hemp. It is safer than mystery-origin “extract.” You can also find CBD in products from at state-regulated “marijuana dispensaries”.. along with its high taxes in some legally recreational states.

  • Choose the right spectrum for you.

    • isolate - CBD only, should contain No THC

    • broad spectrum - CBD + other cannabinoids, should contain No THC

    • full spectrum - CBD + other cannabinoids + 0.3% or less THC

  • Check a product’s packaging for product ingredients, amount of CBD per serving, spectrum-type, dosing and the COA.

  • If a product is labeled as being “hemp seed oil” but no other information from above is available - it’s likely an overpriced nutritional oil with little to no CBD.

  • CBD products are not a cure. If a product is trying to be sold as a cure to your medical ailments - avoid it!

Amazon DOES NOT allow for the sale of CBD products -
    only nutritional hemp oil products.

A label claiming “500mg” , “500mg hemp oil” or “500mg hemp seed oil”
does not say anything about its CBD content.

Please don’t be fooled by a seller’s deceptive descriptions.
